Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 surely you speak at variance, 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 Woe to the liars 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 (and be told): “Taste your ordeal! This is what you were seeking to hasten.” 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23
