[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
