The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 And the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
