The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 Would that you understood what that crushing torment is like. 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9
True are the words of God the Almighty.
