Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And do not utter regarding those who are slain in Allah's cause as “dead”; in fact they are alive, but it is you who are unaware. 154 We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. 155 and in difficulty say, "We are the servants of God and to Him we shall all return". 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Lo! (the mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to go around them (as the pagan custom is). And he who doeth good of his own accord, (for him) lo! Allah is Responsive, Aware. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth). These it is toward whom I relent. I am the Relenting, the Merciful. 160 Lo! Those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers; on them is the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined. 161 They ever dwell therein. The doom will not be lightened for them, neither will they be reprieved. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
