AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 53 Tell also of Ishmael in the Book. He was true to his promise and was a messenger and a prophet. 54 He exhorted his people to prayer and almsgiving, and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 And We lifted him to a high position. (Living with soul & body in heaven, after his death.) 57 Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nuh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded after them a succession who wasted the prayer, and followed lusts; so they shall encounter error 59 Save him who shall repent and believe and do right. Such will enter the Garden, and they will not be wronged in aught - 60 Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear in it anything vain; they shall hear only what is good; and they shall have their provision in it, morning and evening. 62 That is the Garden which We will grant to those of Our servants who have been God-fearing. 63 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?" 65
