Have you not seen those who dispute with respect to the communications of Allah: how are they turned away? 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers. 74 They will be told, "This (torment) is the result of your unreasonable happiness on the earth and of your propagation of falsehood. 75 Enter the gates of hell to abide therein, evil then is the abode of the proud. 76 So be patient [Prophet], for God's promise is true: whether We show you part of what We have promised them in this life, or cause you to die first, it is to Us that they will be recalled. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
