Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Surely We are able to reform even his finger-tips. 4 In fact, people want to have eternal life in this world. 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 But when the sight is dazed 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.) 9 That day man will say: "Where can I find escape?" 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 The only place of refuge will be with God. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 But lo, man is well aware of himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 When We have recited it, follow its words attentively; 18 and then, behold, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear. 19 Human beings certainly do not want to pay much attention to the Quran. In fact, they love the worldly life 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 Countenances on that Day shall be resplendent, 22 looking up to their Sustainer; 23 And some faces, that Day, will be Basirah (dark, gloomy, frowning, and sad), 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?" 27 And he knoweth that it is the parting; 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
