Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
