The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
