▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 30 Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 34 Flames of smokeless fire and black smoke without flames, will be let loose on you, so you will not be able to retaliate. 35 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - 37 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 (For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 42 This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call a lie: 43 They will go round and around between it and boiling water. 44 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 45
