We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The leaders of his people said, “Indeed we see you in open error.” 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Do you find it so strange that a message should come from your Lord through a man from among yourselves, so that he may warn you and so that you may fear God and be shown mercy?" 63 In response they denied him, so We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our signs; indeed they were a blind group. 64
