Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
