▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
