The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
