The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
