And as for those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah, after suffering oppression, We will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they but knew! 41 They are those who bear with patience, and in their Lord they trust. 42 And We sent not (as Our Messengers) before you (O Muhammad SAW) any but men, whom We inspired, (to preach and invite mankind to believe in the Oneness of Allah). So ask of those who know the Scripture [learned men of the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], if you know not. 43 [and they will tell you that their prophets, too, were but mortal men whom We had endowed] with all evidence of the truth and with books of divine wisdom. And upon thee [too] have We bestowed from on high this reminder, so that thou might make clear unto mankind all that has ever been thus bestowed upon them, and that they might take thought. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or that He may seize them while they move here and there, for they cannot escape? 46 Or, that he will not take hold of them by giving them a fright? verily thy Lord is Kind, Merciful. 47 Do they not see how every thing Allah created casts its shadow right and left, prostrating itself before Allah in all humility? 48 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, the cattle and the angels prostrate themselves before God without pride. 49 they fear their Lord above them, and do what they are commanded. ۩ 50
