Is he whom We have promised a fair promise which he will find (true) like him whom We suffer to enjoy awhile the comfort of the life of the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be of those arraigned? 61 And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are My 'partners' which you used to claim?" 62 Those against whom the Word will be realised will say: "Our Lord, these are the ones whom we led astray just as we ourselves strayed. We absolve ourselves before You of all blame. It was not us that they worshipped." 63 And it shall be said: Call upon your associate-gods. And they shall call upon them, and they shall not answer them, and they shall behold the torment. Would that they had received the guidance! 64 And on the Day when He will call to them and proclaim, “What answer did you give to the Noble Messengers?” 65 Then the pleas shall become obscure to them on that day, so they shall not ask each other. 66 Howbeit, whosoever shall repent and believe, and work righteous works - belike he shall be of the thrivers. 67 Your Lord creates whosoever He will and He chooses; the choice was not theirs (the unbelievers). Exalted is Allah, above that they associate! 68 And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 69 And He is Allah, there is no god but He! All praise is due to Him in this (life) and the hereafter, and His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back. 70 Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the night to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you light? Do you not then hear? 71 Say, “What is your opinion – if Allah makes it day continuously for you till the Day of Resurrection then, other than Allah, who is the God who could bring you night for you to rest during it? So do you not perceive?” 72 In His Mercy He has appointed for you the night and the day, so that you can rest in it, and seek His bounty, in order that you will be thankful' 73 Upon the day when He shall call. to them, and He shall say, 'Where now are My associates whom you were asserting?' 74 And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to Allah, and lost from them is that which they used to invent. 75
