Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 He then shot a glance at the stars. 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 This was indeed a plain trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
