Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
