Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 and the severally severing 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 Till an appointed term, 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
