The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
