۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Why are no angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" They are full of self-conceit and behave with intense arrogance. 21 On the day when they behold the angels, on that day there will be no good tidings for the guilty; and they will cry: A forbidding ban! 22 and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. 23 The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. 24 And the day when the sky will be split asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down in full. 25 The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! 26 And the day when the unjust will gnaw his hands, saying, “Alas, if only I had chosen a way along with the (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)!” 27 Oh, would that I had never chosen such a one for my companion -- 28 For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man. " 29 And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. 30 Even so have We appointed unto every prophet an opponent from among the guilty; but Allah sufficeth for a Guide and Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging. 32 And (there is another wisdom in this: whenever they brought to you an odd thing (or a strange question), We sent its right answer to you in time and explained it all in the best manner, 33 They who shall be gathered prone on their faces unto Hell - those shall be worst in respect of place and the most astray in respect of path. 34
