The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
