Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the midmorning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
