The Elephant (Al-Feel)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not cause their schemes to go astray? 2 Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures 3 hurling against them stones of baked clay 4 And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? 5
