The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
