Truly it is the revelation of the Lord of all Being, 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayest be of the warners, 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 This is indicated in the Books of earlier people. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Do you not see that even if We give them respite for years 205 and thereupon that [chastisement] which they were promised befalls them 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So call not thou unto another god along with Allah, lest thou be of the doomed. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They come to every sinful liar. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
