And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 Such is their noble story. The pious ones will certainly have the best place to return. 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
