Wherefore admonish thou! thou art not, by the grace of thy Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or have they a ladder by which they could [ascend to ultimate truths and] listen [to what is beyond the reach of human perception]? Let, then, any of them who have listened [to it] produce a manifest proof [of his knowledge]! 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. 42 Or have they an ilah (a god) other than Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him) 43 And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. 44 So leave them alone until they face the day when they will be struck dead from terror 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 But, verily, for those who are bent on doing evil, there is suffering in store [even] closer at hand than that [supreme suffering in the hereafter]: but most of them are not aware of it. 47 Await the judgement of your Lord, for you are always before Our eyes, and glorify your Lord with praises when you rise, 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
Almighty Allah's Truth.
