Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
