Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 The doom will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained for ever; 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 They will be rewarded the highest position in heaven, the recompense of their patience, and they will be welcomed with honour and greetings of peace. 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 SAY [unto those who believe]: "No weight or value would my Sustainer attach to you were it not for your faith [in Him]!" And say unto those who deny [the truth:] "You have indeed given the lie [to God's message,] and in time this [sin] will cleave unto you!" 77
