Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
