Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: 1 And what have you understood, what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 On this Night, the angels and the spirit descend by the permission of their Lord with His decree (to determine everyone's destiny). 4 All peace is that night until the rise of dawn. 5
