The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
