Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
