AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you, so that you may guide me by what you have been taught?" 66 He said: Surely you cannot have patience with me 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
