۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
