Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
