Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
