Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
