The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
