The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
