The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
