And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
