▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
