Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

We sent it [Quran] down on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what have you understood, what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 in it the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) descend by the permission of their Lord upon every command. 4 All peace is that night until the rise of dawn. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
