The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
