1/4 Hizb 47
< random >
۞ Say thou: my bondmen who have committed extravagance against themselves despair not of the mercy of Allah; verily Allah will forgive the sins altogether. Verily He! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 Turn in repentance to your Lord and submit to His will before you are afflicted with the torment after which you can receive no help. 54 And follow the best of that which hath been sent down unto you from your Lord there cometh on you torment of a sudden, while ye perceive not. 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 Or before the soul says, "Had God guided me, I could have been a pious man". 57 Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112)." 58 Aye! My communications came to you, but you rejected them, and you were proud and you were one of the unbelievers. 59 On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who uttered falsehoods about God with their faces blackened. Is there not enough room in Hell for the arrogant? 60 And Allah shall deliver those who guard (against evil) with their achievement; evil shall not touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers. 63

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
