Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 He plunged the villages 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
